It’s where and how I process the parts I’ve lost and where I commence self investigation. I create a record by piecing together my empty spaces through acrylics, oils, oil pastels, canvas, wood, leather, feathers and metal. My work is either hung on a wall or worn. The wearable pieces are what my great nomadic ancestral grandmother might wear on a Friday night while she crisscrosses a valley on the Silk Road.
Concepts arrive like thunder and I use colour and form to process memories as I rummage for my self. My work is a shrine to contemplation and each piece lives as an ode to our mystic spirit.
I live with a desire; to create depictions that pull me closer to slaying the ego.
