New Paragraph
I stepped into the palm of love
My feet walked, felt like wings as they arrived into this city
In the middle of the night
eyes swollen after weeping out my insides
squinting, relentless lids, unable to let go of the green dome
Suddenly there was a lady, an old ancient seated beside me
Before the sun awoke she turned and said a few words
All in a language I did not know
but I knew what she was saying
She dropped a wind, the essence of this city
and after the sun rose before us
the bud sprang open and the sky was abloom
delicate petals surrounded us
she placed her hand upon my forehead
It was warm and old
When I say old I mean true
tears gushed again from inside me, a new spring broke
I couldn't see anymore and then in just that one split second
It was as if I had known everything
Everything true
that this had already been, what is written upon the tablet
the end had come
the curtains had already closed
and with the chirping of the birds
the moment flew away, it was just a tiny glimmer
and so enough for me that after that it was as if I was spent
the day that had just dawned felt too much to withstand
I had travelled through time, through space and was set back again
on the sage green carpet, the scent of deer musk
and the velvety green dome
I so wish I could touch it
